Grand Rezerva – Nowhere Bound

A few months ago we reviewed the single Hellbound made by the talented Swedish band Grand Rezerva and now they are back with a new one, Nowhere Bound. If you are the type of fan that just wants a fantastic rock song and have a great song, then these Swedish gentlemen have the solution for you.
One of the first thoughts that comes to my mind when I listen to a Grand Rezerva song is the fact that they are a very uplifting group and every song really transmits that; tracks like this single are filled with energy, enthusiasm and optimism that gets to the listener. From the moment that we listen to Andreas Lundberg Mattias ‘Tiz’ Nilsson’s opening riffs, we know that we are in for a thrill.
Clint Eastwood once said that a man has to know his limitations and the same applies to bands: they have to know their limitations and where their strengths lie, which is one of the key factors to understand a band like Grand Rezerva–they know what they achieve with their sound and how to do it.
Michael C. Svensson is a phenomenal singer and he provides a lot of personality to each vocal line in Nowhere Bound, sounding convincing and adding a lot of energy. This is particularly true as far as the chorus goes, which is delivered in a masterful manner and it’s like an injection of adrenaline.
The music video that was made for this single is certainly a bit low budget, but I think is quite decent and it delivers in a very effective manner the message of the song itself, which is passion, energy and a lot of quality Hard Rock.
Grand Rezerva has been in the music business for a decade now and they have been slowly but surely making their way with a lot of hard work and quality songs like this one. Nowhere Bound is a very solid single and it’s worth your attention
